It has been raining incessantly in Maharashtra for the last one week. An obvious consequence of it is the flooding of rivers such as the Savitri, Shiv, Panchaganga, Ulhas and Jagbudi. Red alert has been declared in parts of Raigad district and towns such as Kolhapur, Satara and Chiplun. The situation is also critical in Kalyan, Thane, Palghar and Bhiwandi. We consider it to be our moral duty to help all the lives in danger. Large numbers of people have been relocated. Hence, we would be distributing Ration kits, clothes and blankets. To add on it, we even plan to rescue and feed the animals in these flood affected regions. This operation has been initiated by Vaghmi Foundation in partnership with Josh Connect.
